About Wicca

  • German Shepherd, ~2 years old

  • Friendly, people-loving, eager to bond

  • Very intelligent + very food-motivated* (learns fast)

    • Very food-motivated with the right food. She is not too interested in kibble, and she does not eat it well. She is obsessed with raw food, and she would absolutely love to eat that every day if it’s in the budget.

  • Crate/kennel trained

  • Great on walks in public: notices other dogs but doesn’t bark, lunge, or pull

  • Fantastic with kids (great with my 1- and 4-year-old)

  • Good with chickens

  • Cats: unknown (likely trainable with the right intro + management)

What she needs to work on

  • Can be socially “pushy” with other dogs

  • Sometimes ignores warning growls and gets in other dogs’ space

  • May jump up/on other dogs out of excitement (not aggression, but can trigger conflict)

Best fit home

  • Active home that includes their dog in daily life

  • German Shepherd–experienced owner preferred

  • Consistent structure + training (she will thrive with it)

  • Would do fine as an only dog

  • If placed with another dog: best with a tolerant male who can match her energy

  • Not ideal with selective/“leave me alone” female dogs

Adoption details

  • Located in Fayetteville, AR

  • Meet-and-greet required, and I will not be placing her upon first meeting. If you live far away, I know that’s not realistic. We’ll discuss in depth about her behavior to make sure you fully understand her temperament and needs.

  • Will be very selective — next home needs to be her forever home

  • She is not spayed, but has an appointment for her spay in April.

  • I’m asking a rehoming fee of $250 to help cover the vet bills. I’ve paid over $300, and her spay will likely be another $600+
